Parkinson’s Fitness Class Engages Muscles and Increases Mobility

The Watermark at 3030 Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut recently made headlines with our Parkinson’s Fitness Class. The Parkinson’s Fitness Class meets biweekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:45pm. Fitness Director at The Watermark, Cindy McGuire, designed this class to focus on balance and strengthening that targets muscles to increase mobility. “The goal of our Parkinson’s Fitness Class is to teach people basic exercise moves that not only give them a light workout, but provide them with simple exercises they can do at home to improve their mobility and overall functional abilities throughout the day,” said McGuire.
