Residents of the Health Center enjoyed an outing at Uncle Bucks Fishbowl. Uncle Buck’s has an aquarium like set up for bowling and is great fun for a Thursday afternoon! There we also tried the food craze of fried pickles!
Residents of The Inn and Gardens enjoyed a step-by-step instruction based painting class hosted by the Giggling Pig. This lesson was painting a dandelion blowing in the breeze and residents got to take these paintings back home with them. Giggling Pig will be back on May 17th at 3:00pm in the Health Center.
Residents of the Health Center went on a wonderful outing to the Cheesecake Factory (a favorite at our community). We enjoyed pineapple chicken & shrimp, burgers, shrimp scampi as well as spaghetti and meatballs! Our next few outings include, Pez Factory Tour, Bowling, Maritime Aquarium, and the Blue Spruce Farm.

Every now and then our rough hands need some pampering. BuildOn Intern Simone helped give our residents hand massages with lotions filled with aloe for the men and lovely scents for our ladies. In the spirit of horse racing, residents enjoyed a fun game inspired by a day at the horse track. Each person rolls a dice to move their horse around the track with obstacles and tunnels. It is a fun game of chance! Thank you to our BuildOn interns Simone, Elizabeth and Jamie for helping out!
