July is here with warm weather and exciting activities to look forward to at The Watermark at 3030 Park. If you are traveling this month, enjoy, be safe, and come back with memories to share.
Here at home in July, we have lots of performers through the month. Chris Coogan, who kicked off our annual Jazz Festival in June, is returning with saxophonist Jim Clark on Saturday, July 7th. Jack Lynn will impersonate Dean Martin on Sunday, July 8th. Johnny Morris will be back from California to play the piano on Sunday, July 15th, and Gary Kahn will be here to sing on Saturday, July 21st. The Silver Steel Drum Band will stir things up on Sunday, July 22, for our monthly 50th Anniversary Celebration.
A few new faces are coming: Amadi,a violinist, and his wife, Debby, a pianist, will be here Tuesday, July 24th. On Monday, July 30th, don’t miss the Survivors Swing Band.
July 4th is a quiet day at The Watermark, with a special luncheon. The Fitness Center will be open. The “Maintain Your Independence” Fitness Challenge continues in July. Feel free to come earn flag parts until the raffle sometime at the end of July.
