An informative “Lunch and Learn” event was hosted here on February 15th. Guests were treated to a complementary lunch, which featured a delicious surf and turf entree while hearing about the amenities, the senior living choices, and the financial considerations at The Watermark at 3030 Park. Our guests learned about the difference between Traditional and Life Care options and how to better understand what option might best fit each family. There were many questions from the audience regarding topics such as: amenity inclusions, fees, services, square footage of apartments, insurance, and refunds. Our team was able to explain some of the nuances and benefits of living in our community, one of the rare Continuing Care Communities in Fairfield County. After lunch our guests were given a guided tour, which included a visit to our state of the art fitness center, the therapeutic pool, the full service salon, the auditorium, the Gallery Cafe, and some of our model apartments!
A move into senior housing involves several important determinations. Deciding on a specific community and level of care, preparing for the downsizing and consolidation of what could be a lifetime’s worth of personal belongings, and readying oneself emotionally to leave one’s home. The Watermark at 3030 Park is committed to helping seniors and their loved ones during this process by providing answers to their questions. Our “Lunch and Learn” events can be an easy first step to begin the process of fact finding and it’s always a delicious meal. Be sure to check the calendar for our next event!
