Each year, the Alzheimer’s Association marks the summer solstice with its annual The Longest Day fundraising event. The goal of The Longest Day is to end the “darkness of Alzheimer’s” on the day with the most light. Watermark communities around the country participated by hosting a variety of fundraisers such as bowling outings, luncheons and casino nights.
At The Watermark at 3030 Park, we contributed by promoting “A Day of Music” in all neighborhoods starting at 10:30 a.m. and ending at 8:30 p.m. Thriving Thru Music is such an important and effective means for all of our residents to enjoy life and contribute to their well-being. And the beat goes on. . .and the beat goes on . . .
