It was a “good day” spent with good friends, good food, entertainment, and education. What more could you ask for? As Italian tradition goes food is a big part of Italian culture. Our Gardens (Memory Care) community here at The Watermark at 3030 Park celebrated, Italian style by going to a favorite local Italian restaurant and we were not disappointed! The group truly enjoyed the wonderful cooking experience provided by Dominick Jr and his welcoming staff. It was exciting as well as educational to not only taste the selection of Italian favorites, but also to be able to be part of the preparation process with hands on pizza making. The food was fantastic, and our residents were given a special treat when Dominick Sr. gave us a special surprise performance….he played his accordion for us, and gave our residents a quick lesson as well. What a great way to thrive, by celebrating, learning, and living well!
