The Watermark at 3030 Park is proud of the many military Veterans who call our community home. In an effort to acknowledge those brave men and women, we will be holding a special lecture this week to talk about the various benefit programs available to them.
Our guest speaker will be Anne James, a Veterans Service Officer from the State of Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs. Anne is a retired Army Combat Medic who served in Panama and during the First Gulf War. Anne has served Connecticut’s 4th Congressional District for more than seven years by helping our heroes and their families obtain the benefits and assistance they so rightfully deserve.
While there are thousands of VA benefits available, Anne’s discussion will primarily focus on the Aid and Attendance benefit program, which helps Veterans with large out-of-pocket medical and home healthcare expenses.
Whether it is questions with the documentation and application process, to finding the correct location to send paperwork – Anne has all the experience necessary to answer any of your questions.
We invite any and all Veterans from Greater Bridgeport to attend this discussion – which is free of charge and will be held Thursday, November 13th at 3:00pm at our community, located at 3030 Park Avenue in Bridgeport.
